    Tra Vinh pushes tourism

The Mekong Delta’s Tra Vinh province has recently approved a plan for developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector in the 2018-2020 period and orientation to 2030. The province will build technical infrastructure, train skilled human resources, and support investment in developing tourism products. It now has ten historical and architectural sites and national intangible cultural heritages, together with one national treasure and 142 Khmer pagodas with unique ancient architecture. It is offering investment incentives in projects such as the Ba Om Pond national tourist site, hot mineral springs, a mangrove forest tourism area, the Ba Dong tourism area, restaurants, hotels, and handicraft production.
