Two new night markets have been opened along the banks of the Han River in Danang, on the footpaths of APEC Park, close to the Cham Museum, and Dragon Bridge, two of the city’s most famous tourist destinations. The markets are mobile, with vendors moving on afterwards, and are open every day from 5.30 pm to 2am, primarily selling souvenirs instead of food, to keep the areas clean. They aim to provide more activities to tourists at night, as Danang lacks entertainment services for visitors after 10pm. The central city attracted more than 6.6 million visitors last year, up nearly 20% against 2016.
