The café is divided into two different areas: a lush green tropical courtyard where guests can look out over West Lake, and an artful main dining area where numerous artworks and antiques are on display.
As soon as you walk through the doors a comforting aroma of home cooking combined with delicious house roasted coffee greets you. The cosy café features an open-plan kitchen where all baking and cooking takes place in full view of guests. Its talent chef is always ready to prepare a healthy breakfast of Chia, muesli, coconut juice, almonds, goji berries, fresh fruit and sugar-free yoghurt (VND120,000), or one of many nutritious vegetarian dishes for brunch or lunch, such as chickpea and goat cheese falafel (prepared from sauerkraut, cucumber, carrot, tomato, avocado, almonds and humus) at VND195,000 per dish. For a laid-back evening, diners can try out one of Maison de Tet décor’s large plates for the main course, such as Parmesan crusted chicken Tagine (VND200,000) or Nha Trang Barramundi fish fillet (VND220,000), then finish with home-baked gluten-free pumpkin/banana and avocado/banana and chocolate bread.
Ingredients are safe and organic and were cultivated at the owner’s organic farm called Fragrant Path.
Maison de Tet décor also offers an extensive drinks menu, ranging from micro batch roasted coffee, detoxifying juices to spirits. Try the ‘Earth Blend’ at VND65,000, the light caramel nutty flavour will make you want to come back for more.
