As one of two restaurants at the hotel, Wakaku (based on the Japanese name of a well-loved Vietnamese princess) has an attractive décor in the art nouveau style with elegantly flowery patterns and bold shapes that symbolise the sun and also soft couches, armchairs and ceiling lanterns.
Prepared by experienced local chefs who used to work for famous hotels and resorts locally and internationally, the restaurant has recently introduced a new menu that features ingredients such as salmon, tuna, and scallops as well as other freshly caught seafood. The sashimi (fresh seafood) is served in portions of nine pieces (VND450,000/ portion) or 15 pieces (VND600,000), with three or five different flavours, and seafood such as salmon, squid and tuna, among others. There are also plenty of choices for dessert, including Zenzai (red bean sweet soup served with toasted mochi cakes) at VND100,000, and tempura ice cream and green tea cake at VND120,000 each.
Wakaku serves a la carte and set menus for dinner only from 6pm to 10pm daily.
