BAGS AT HAND

Ms Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, founder and CEO of Ahanaba, is interested in high-end fashion and spent a lot of time travelling to world-famous fashion cities to explore and understand the high-end fashion world. She then opened her first shop, in March, selling a variety of high-quality handmade bags.

Though woven or knitted, the skilled artisans at Ahanaba are still able to make the bags strong, durable and fashionable with elaborate decorations.

After nurturing the idea of her own shop for several years, Ms Thu Ha now hopes to work with skilled Vietnamese artisans and introduce Vietnamese values to the world.

‘It’s true that there are a lot of highly-skilled artisans in Vietnam working for international partners, but we still don’t have an outstanding Vietnamese brand in the global market,’ she said. ‘With Ahanaba, I strongly believe that Vietnamese women will one day carry Vietnamese woven bags with pride and confidence while walking around the major fashion cities of the world.’

Ahanaba bags are made from high-quality synthetic fibre that allows them to be washed and can be used for different purposes, like travel, work, events and daily life.

Bags start from VND1,000,000. Open from 8am to 10pm.
