Mui Ne to develop into national tourism site

The south-central province of Binh Thuan plans to develop Mui Ne, a popular beach town in the coastal city of Phan Thiet, into a national tourism site by 2030, attracting 16 million visitors and earning VND58 trillion ($2.5 billion) in tourism revenue. The province will create diverse tourism products, boost promotions, and train tourism staff. The town aims to attract new tourism markets in central and northern Europe and the Middle East and will focus on its beaches as well as sports, culture and community tourism. More investment in entertainment and traffic infrastructure will be considered and more attention will be paid to environmental factors and the effects of climate change. Developing Mui Ne into a national tourism site will also boost development in the region and links with the central highlands.
