Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc has new General Manager
8pm, 21 & 22 March
Hanoi Opera House, 1 Trang Tien St., HN
Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc has appointed Mr Peter Feran as General Manager of Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc, the new beachfront resort on Vietnam’s ‘Pearl Island’. An Australian national with extensive experience on three continents, Peter will oversee the pre-opening of the brand new upper-upscale resort, which will become the first Radisson Blu in Vietnam when it opens its doors in July. He has been involved with the Radisson brand for the last ten years, which makes him the ideal person to lead this spectacular new-build hotel and deliver Radisson Blu’s ‘Yes I Can!’ international service philosophy. Having achieved his first managerial roles in London, Peter returned to his native Australia in 2004 to start his long affiliation with the Radisson brand, initially as Rooms Division Manager at the former Radisson Playford Hotel & Suites, Adelaide. In 2008 he was appointed Hotel Manager of Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney, before securing his first General Manager role in 2010 at Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam. Following five rewarding years in Brunei, Peter moved to Thailand to take up the reins at Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok, the Radisson Hotel Group’s (formerly Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group) flagship hotel in Southeast Asia. During his tenure, the impressive 290-room downtown property was named ‘Hotel of the Year 2015’.
