    The four-star standard The Reed Hotel in northern Ninh Binh province has opened it doors. Located on a spacious 1.6 hectares, the hotel, together with The Aria Palace, is a complex offering various services such as accommodation, conferences, workshops and food. The Aria Palace includes two multifunction conference halls with a modern design and no columns and a seating capacity up to 1,500. Sound and lighting systems are the latest in technology, to ensure they meet all the requirements of any event.

    Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi has appointed Mr Anthony Slewka-Armfelt as its Director of Sales and Marketing. He has directed commercial activity at Sofitels across Southeast Asia and India since 2008. In 2009, Sofitel regional positions were moved, with Anthony being positioned at two Sofitel opening projects, first in Phnom Penh and then in Bangkok.

    Hotel Royal Hoi An, a member of the MGallery Collection, has opened in Hoi An Town. The hotel’s 119 guestrooms are adorned with dark wood and handcrafted furnishings and fixtures that bring the city’s storied past back to life. Room types include Sotaro Suites, on the top floor facing east to Japan, Anio Suites on the top floor facing west to Vietnam, and two Deluxe Suites, Yasu and Tau. Its food and beverage venues feature Faifo Café, serving a la carte dishes of Asian, American and European cuisine for lunch and dinner, and Japanese food outlet Wa Ka Ku and the poolside River Bar. Other facilities include Thu Bon Ballroom with 250 seats, and Royal Spa and Royal Fitness.
