The Emeralda Resort NinhBinh decided to switch off or dimming lights during Earth Hour on 30 March 2019, at 8-9 pm local time and take part in this worldwide inspirational event to help alleviate the negative effects of climate change.

Emeralda Ninh Binh Resort celebrates Earth hour 2019

The resort will go dark for one hour to shine a light on climate action in support of Earth Hour 2019- the worldwide movement for the planet organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). From 8 to 9pm of the day, the resort will switching off of main exterior lighting, dimming of interior lobby and restaurant lighting and carry out other energy-saving measures including hosting of candlelight dinners for guests wishing to join the resort in raising environmental awareness.

Guests of Emeralda Resort Ninh Binh will be also be encouraged to turning off their in-room lighting and other electrical devices, and visit Pool Bar which will serve a special commemorative offer with ‘Buy one get one free beer’ or ‘Buy two get one free one free cocktail during Earth Hour.

After winning the 2018 The Best Luxury Eco Hotel Awards, the Emeralda Ninh Binh Resort continues with their passion of sustainability by proudly supporting Earth Hour 2019 as the brand promise for the guests.

The resort is putting more effort into serving guests with green materials in facilities and amenities. Freshwater in glass bottles welcoming guests in each room is the specialty of the resort. Paper straws are also served instead of plastic straws in all restaurants and bars. Garbage is even collected in biodegradable bags. With all above efforts, it hopes that guests could be well aware of people behavior for changing a better habit and lifestyle.
