  • Quang Nam takes action on heritage preservation

    The central province of Quang Nam has taken measures to promote and preserve the world heritage sites of My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An ancient town. The province continues to cooperate with relevant agencies, international organisations, and scientists to study local Cham architecture with a view to restoring the My Son Sanctuary in a scientific and concerted manner. Meanwhile, in Hoi An ancient town, the province has adopted policies for collective and individually owned relics, including the provision of timber for restoration.

  • Heritage, spiritual tour launched in Quang Tri

    The Heritage and Spiritual Journey has been introduced in the central province of Quang Tri by Saigontourist. The journey takes tourists to the ancient citadel built in 1827, Con Co Island, where many war-related objects are on display, the former DMZ during the American War, and the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery. Quang Tri is also renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, exotic culture, spiritual values, and friendly people. It has a multitude of war-related historical sites that attract large numbers of local and foreign tourists alike, such as Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnels, the McNamara Line, Khe Sanh Combat Base, and Lao Bao Prison.



    Hue has inherited a host of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage values, with all eyes now on the difficult task of their conservation.
