    New cruises on ‘Halong Bay in the Mountains’ open

    New and unique three-star cruises on Hoa Binh Lake in the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh have been launched by Hoa Binh Tourist and the Vietnam Tour Club. With 47 large and small islands, Hoa Binh Lake is often called ‘Halong Bay in the Mountains’ and is suitable for holiday and leisure tourism development. Tours are customised, from a full day to three days and two nights. Tourists can take in the natural scenery of the lake and discover Ngoi Hoa Bay, temples, caves, and villages of the Muong ethnic minority group, which account for most of the province’s population. Homestays and local food and culture are also available.

  • Luxury buses for Hanoi - Halong route

    Ten luxury Dcar Limousines have just been added to the transport offerings between Hanoi and Halong Bay by Phuc Xuyen Ltd. Transformed and renovated from a Ford Transit, the vehicle is cut down from 16 to only ten seats, including seven for passengers. Each seat is more spacious and the limo features luxury facilities such as full leather custom interiors, electrical power and USB adaptors for laptops, mobiles and music players and the charging of electronic devices, free wi-fi, reading lights, and flat screen TVs. There are 15 trips undertaken each day from 4am to 8pm at a price of around VND200,000 per traveller. The company also said that it will take possession of ten more Dcar Limousines at the end of the year for the Hanoi - Halong and Halong - Mong Cai routes.
