‘Seoul Show’ in Hanoi

The presentation is aimed at promoting Seoul tourism products; strengthening the relationship between tourism service providers within the two countries, and providing useful information on Seoul tourism to visitors from Vietnam.

At the 'Seoul Show', visitors are provided with many useful information about Seoul tourism such as the "Discover Seoul Pass" free travel card, the Hallyu live experience program (‘Korean Wave’) and cultural Seoul sightseeing tours with commentators.

All that a foreign individual traveler to Seoul should do is to purchase a convenient card of Discover Seoul Pass, which is possible for tourist to access popular tourist destinations, use public transportation for free as well as enjoy discounts when shopping.

Currently, Discover Seoul Pass has offered free entrance to 36 tourism spots in Seoul city including SMTOWN Theater (Hologram concert), Seoul Battleship Park, National Museum of Korea, and Namsangol Hanok as well as enjoy discount on fee for entering other tourism destinations throughout the city.

According to the organization, the Discover Seoul Pass- Summer 2018 Card has already been improved to help guests feel more convenient when using public transportations. The card holder is also offered a free one-way ticket from Incheon International Airport to Seoul Station by Airport Railroad Express, a free Seoul City Tour by Seoul City Tour Bus and 24 hours free use of Seoul Bike.

"Seoul ranked 7th in Lonely Planet’s Top 10 Cities for 2017, and is the only Asian city in the top 10 list. Every year, the number of Vietnamese tourists traveling to Seoul has increased dramatically. Last year, the number of Vietnamese visitors to Seoul was 320,000, and this year's number of visitors is expected to increase further,” Lee Jun, representative director of the Seoul Tourism Organization said at the presentation.
