Another year has passed and the annual The Guide Awards 2017 were successfully held at the Novotel Phu Quoc Resort on Phu Quoc Island, with over 200 guests in attendance from all around Vietnam. This was the first time The Guide Awards have been held on Phu Quoc Island, known as Vietnam’s ‘Pearl Island’, with pristine beaches and smooth, white sandy coastlines.
This 18th holding of The Guide Awards were held on spectacularly beautiful and poetic Phu Quoc Island and were truly a valuable opportunity for tourism enterprises to meet together, network, and promote commitments and consensus towards the common goal of sustainable tourism development. Tourism development on Phu Quoc over recent years clearly reflects the attraction and robustness of tourism in Kien Giang province in particular and throughout Vietnam in general, illustrating the substantial potential for breakthroughs based on local advantages.
