Ana Mandara Villas Dala twill once again join more than one billion people across 172 countries to continue its support for Earth Hour 2019 on Saturday, 30 March 2019, from 8.30 to 9.30pm, by switching off lights to reduce greenhouse gas from electricity generation.

The resort is inviting its guests to support and be involved in Earth Hour; a global environmental awareness event organized by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and plays apart in the resort’s fight against climate change towards a sustainability future. Guests are encouraged to participant the activity plant a tree in the organic garden, at 10am on 30 March 2019 and join with our resort to switch off the lights in the guestrooms and other electrical devices.

Sheraton Hanoi Hotel appointed Mr. Julian Wong its General Manager from December 2018.  As a professional hotelier who has more than 21 years of experience working at Marriott International Inc., Julian has held many leadership positions including General Manager at multiple Marriott key brands througout his hotelier career before coming to the hotel.

Mr. Julian has also proved to be an excellent leader by leading the team at the properties he managed to win multiple awards - Marriott Global, Regional Awards, including a Global Special Sales Achievement Award, Asia Pacific Sales Team of the Year Award in 2010 and multiple regional awards for general management including the Asia Pacific General Manager of the Year Award – Marriott Executive Apartments brand in 2011.

Hanoi Hotel has currently announced the completed upgrading with high-class accommodation system at its City Wing Court and put into operation from January 7, 2019. During the six months of renovation, there were a total of 70 guest rooms had already been upgraded and equipped with new amenities from luxury brands.

The renovation brought a completely new look to the hotel, with ‘state-of-the-art’ modern equipments yet comfortable and classy Japanese ambiences.

“Courageously in the plan and strategy to change the look, combined with a professional and rich varieties of services, we hope to increase the selling capacity as well as receive good feedback from customers in the coming time,” said Mr. Richard Yit- Chief Operation Officer- Hotel division of Tung Shing Group Inc., the owner group of Hanoi Hotel.

Opened in 1993, the Hanoi Hotel was the first international hotel in Vietnam’s capital and remains a well-known destination in the Asian hospitality industry, providing dedicated services for discerning business and leisure travellers. Nearly 80 per cent of the hotel’s guests are businesspeople, in particular those from Hong Kong, Taiwan and elsewhere in Asia.
