Vietnam’s traditional religious practice of worshipping the Mother Goddesses has been recognised by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity. The worship of the Mother Goddesses is a traditional practice in Vietnam and has an important role in the community, reflecting the history, culture, solidarity and spiritual and religious needs of the people. The recognition will raise awareness among Vietnamese people to preserve and promote the tradition.
